My final edit exported using the h.264 codec

When rendering my video I did a few different versions.
First I rendered the video using the Quicktime codec so as to have a high quality version to keep as a backup just encase I wanted to edit the video again in the future.

I also rendered a high quality h.264 version that I would be uploaded to Youtube but will a lower file size suitable for streaming.
And finaly a low quality version for viewiong on other devices such as phones and tablets

One some of the video clips I thought the contrast wasn'tlooking good so I added the "shadow/highlight" effect to alter the look of them to a more desired outcome.

Some of the sound clips also had a lot of noise in them and to get rid of the noise I used the "Adaptive noise reduction filter" and altered the settings until I was happy the noise was erased from the clip and it sounded good. I also added easing on the sound level key frames to help them transition smoothly.

Some of the audio clips had unwanted noised at the start and ending and to make everything sound better and blend well I changed the sound volumes on the timeline so they faded in and out nicely.

With most of the footage that wwas shot I unlinked the audio from them and then placed the video over another audio scource. I found that this was useful in some areas where the audio of some of the footage thats was shot to be very low quality. I made sure all the voices and video all synced up properly by placing the video and audio clips in the desired areas on the timeline.

I added all the footage I wanted onto my timeline and placed them all in specific times so the whole video made sense and flowed very fluid. This took a lot of changing around and took up most of the projects time for me.

In the beginning a had a watch over all the clips we had to work with to see which ones go in what stage of the timeline. I then used the media browser to import all the assets I needed.
I beganmy video with a shot of the top of the males head.  All these shots had times on them. I used a solid black graphic layer to cover these and had it ontopof all my footage.

Eagle Project:

Eagle Project review

The eagle project was lots of fun and I learned new tools and ways to edit that will be very useful in my future animations. Working with the effects was great and seeing how Premier Pro can help you add final touches to your project assets so everything gels well together The Shadow/Highlight is one that I used here. It was very useful in this particular project as many of the pictures were under exposed. I also learned that you can create nice transitions between assets that are on the timeline using for example the Cross Dissolve effect. Adding Titles to our projects is something we all will use and the add graphic function was great and easy to use. Not only the Still images and video could be edited I found. Audio has its own layer and where video had audio accompanied you can unlink them and delete it if wanted and add your own desired audio instead.
The amount of options the render engine has available was great and made it easier to people unfamiliar with the process that wanted to render their videos to be played on various different devices. You can have full control of the output settings if you would rather take a more custom approach to the rendering.

My Final Video

Here is a link to download a HD version of my project from my Google Drive that I rendered. I have also supplied a link to a lower resolution version.
I did render a larger .mxf file to keep as a back up[ so I always have a high quality version to go back to encase I ever want to use it in the future.

When rendering I learned that Premier Pro offers many different presets to render your videos files to.
This is great as you can render your videos to suit different platforms better.
A good rendering codec I use is h.264 which offers good quality and compression while keeping the files relatively low. There is also options to fully customize the video height and width settings.

Here I changed the volume of the music that plays during the video so I could allow the narrators voice to be heard clearly.

I added some "Cross Dissolve" to add a nice transition from shot to shot where I thought necessary.

Here I changed the text settings. I chose a font and then added some fill and stroke to help style the text the way I wanted.

Here in the "Effects Control"  used the "Shadow/Highlight" effect to bump up the contrast in images that needed altering. I also added some "Temporal Smoothing" to smooth out the sudden changes in contrast.

Here I changed the position and zoom of an image that appears on the timeline by adding keyframes for each position and zoom change. I also added easing to smooth the transition from one location to the next.

In this image I have screenshot where to unlink audio from a video clip on the timeline.

I learned to insert text onto the project using the "Graphic" "Text" tool.

Here I learned how to navigate the "Media Browser" to easily access the assets I will uses in my projects. If I wanted to use any of the files that I brows to, all I have to do is drag and drop them onto the timeline. I can also change how the files are viewed. I rather the thumbnail view.
